It is Les Marshak's voice you hear every morning introducing NBC's Today Show. As a voice-over artist, Les has voiced thousands of radio and tv spots, including having been Macy's commercial spokesman for 20 years. Les Marshak has been the voice of some of network television's biggest events, having arguably been the live announcer of more award shows than anyone in the history of network television: The Oscars, The Tony Awards, The Emmy Awards, and others. Les Marshak was the subject of a special feature on WNBC-TV's "Mike'd Up" on July 13, 2008. In the mid 50's as a young teenager, Les captured the legendary New York Yankee players up close with his 8mm movie camera. Click here and enjoy the memories.
